“… whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. Now this, Yet once more, indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Heb. 12:26, 27

Back in March 2020, I gave a prophetic word called, “This shaking is not for destruction, but for change.” Back then, many of us figured that the shaking caused by the Corona virus would be over by Easter. However, it’s still here and recently, in a time of prayer, I asked the Lord why the shaking hadn’t stopped yet. God’s reply was, “Some things don’t just need to change. They need to be broken off completely!”

He then showed me a vision of us (the Church) with our backs against the wall in the shadow of one of Europe’s large cathedrals while many things that we’d come to rely on - liturgy, styles of worship, etc. - crumbled. They were things that we had built. Many were trying to hide in the shadows of what had been. They were grabbing onto whatever they could as the ground shook. As I continued to look, I saw the LORD standing in the midst of the shaking and extending His arms to all who would dare to let go of what they were hanging onto and come to Him. There was perfect peace in His eyes.

This wasn’t a call to salvation. Instead, it was the same invitation that Jesus issued to Peter. In the midst of the storm, He invited Peter to step out of the boat, to walk on water and come. While many saw him, most were too afraid to let go. Then I saw one let go of what he was clinging to and step out into the open and walk towards Jesus. The onlookers held their breath as they waited for the ground to open and swallow him up. However, something else happened. With each step he took, an invisible heavy shell that he didn’t even know had been covering him crumbled and fell to the ground. After he had taken a few steps, he was running with great intent towards God and His Glory. Then another went, and another, until it became a people movement. People came from every direction and gathered around Jesus. As they did, barriers between denominations and people groups came down and then they started to worship together and pray. That’s when things showed the promise of starting to shift.

Today, the Lord is saying to the Church, “I AM BREAKING AND I WILL NOT STOP THE SHAKING UNTIL I’M DONE! I am shaking you out of confusion and into united prayer. I am shaking you out of despondency and into worship. I am shaking you out of your old identity into who you really are.”

“It was never My intent,” says the Lord, “for My Church to be a permanent shelter from the world. This shaking is meant to thrust you into the world. I AM shaking you out of your confinement and complacency. As I shake, I will ignite your hearts and bring you into My purposes and a passion for Me and My house. I AM returning My body on the earth to her original roots. I AM raising her up to be the nation-changing, reformation-bringing, soul-winning Ekklesia of God.

The reset is upon us!
